Where are you based?

Do you travel for weddings and shoots?
Yes, at Flourish Photography we love to travel and explore new places. Kindly note that travelling expenses and accommodation are, however, not included in our packages and a quotation will be provided based on the location of the wedding and/or shoot.
What should I expect during a session with you?
A lot of fun and laughter. At Flourish Photography we strive to make you feel as comfortable as possible while capturing life’s most beautiful moments through our lens. But don’t worry, we will be guiding you along the way as far as poses are concerned.
What time do the sessions take place?
This will depend on the location and season. For indoor sessions I am pretty flexible. I always suggest a morning time, but if you prefer the afternoons, then hey, let’s make it an afternoon! Outdoor sessions are another story. These take place during the golden hour where the light is beautiful, flattering and just magical.
How long before I get my photos?
Weddings: (2-3 months) / Other (Engagement/ Family/ Lifestyle etc) (3 - 4 weeks). Within 4-5 days I will share some photos of your session as a Sneak peek. This will go onto Instagram/ FB. Within the allocated turnaround time (2-3 months in re weddings / 3-4 weeks in re other shoots) you will receive a secure online gallery. You will be able to view all images of your session and download it at your own convenience and time. (Please note I always strive to deliver the images within the prescribed turnaround time, but during busy periods this may occasionally take a week or two longer.
What type of photography/shoots do you do?
We specialise mostly in Weddings and engagement shoots. However, we love capturing special moments whether it is a family shoot/ maternity shoot or lifestyle shoot.
I want to book a session. What do I do?
Yayyy! We are so excited to work with you. Send us a message and I'll be in touch to work out all the fun stuff! Once I have a few details off you, I’ll send you through a quote and client contract via my online booking system. To secure your session date, all you need to do is have a read through the contract – sign it and pay a 50% deposit (with the balance due 1 month prior to your wedding date or 7 days prior to your family/engagement/maternity and/or lifestyle shoot.
Do your packages include videography?
Unfortunately, not. We do, however have some great recommendations for a videographer.
How long before my wedding/ shoot should I book you?
Preferably as soon as possible seeing that I start booking weddings 12 months in advance.
How many hours of coverage do you suggest for a wedding day?
In general, we suggest between 8-10 hours of coverage on a wedding day especially if you have a longer timeline. This is to ensure that we capture all of your special moments from the “getting ready” photos until the reception. After our one-on-one call/zoom consultation, which I offer my clients, I will work with you to determine how many hours of coverage is needed.
